I spent a few minutes trying to do that the other day. I had a hard time lifting the fuse panel high enough to trace that wire to the fuel pump fuse because the part of the bundle that goes through the inner fender to the engine was really tight. What I could see was that there were the right number of wires going to each of the 5 spade sockets (one each to 30, 85, and 86; and two to 87 and 87b), but none of the colors matched the wiring diagram. The two wires going to 87b (the empty socket) were black (gray/red on the diagram), 30 was gray (red) and 87 were red (blue/red).
Everything seems to be working ok, but I would like to understand why it's so different from what the diagram shows.
