You have a batterie charging problem, the alternator sends its energy to the batterie where the car picks it up and runs the car, if the batterie is draining dead it would give all the issues you have, pull the positive and negative batterie terminal cables and clean the batterie posts, then reinstall. The next step is the 12gauge red positive cable running the power from the starter to the batterie, it may be burnt or over corroded under the red sheath which would need replacement. But being this is kind of a pain to replace. Do the red 12gauge red wire running from alternator to starter. It also can have the corrosion under the sheath creating little power transfer.
It also could be the alternator working fine one min. And not working the next. How is this possible, there is a very small ground wire that's plugged into the alternator by a female connector, it slides onto a male post on the alt. this small wire can break at the crimp where the female connector hooks to the wire, the wire may just be laying on top of the female end and simple vibration of the motor is wiggling this little ground wire breaking contact every so often making the alternator to stop working, sort of like turning a light switch on and off. The way this little wire is crimped to the female end can look like its fine but the plastic sheath around the female end can hold the wire in place making it seem everything is fine.
Pull the wire off the alt. and inspect it closely.
