T5 is a good option if you are pretty savvy with a computer and do the reflashing. There are some really good maps out there for the C900 to help get you pretty close. To dial it in you may require the laptop. I am on my second C900 with T5 and did a write up on the install on another site. It is a brilliant system for running a 16vt engine. 30 plus mpg, 20 psi of boost and a much smoother and wider power band. The idle is vastly improved. I think in the next five years we will be seeing lots more 900's running T5 as the knowledge spreads.
By the way, I make no claim to being the first here. Damien in CA did this conversion about 10 years ago with his C900. I just had my friend come up with the kit to make the install fairly straight forward with the trigger wheel mounted to the harmonic balancer.
