I've seen this question posted before, but, never answered. I have a 1988 Saab 900 8-valve naturally aspirated with the (in)famous CIS system. The SaabSite and several other places list and "updated" fuel injector (p/n 7856354) as well as the stock 9310152.

Anyone have some genuine information about how the two compare? Specifications? Is it just the length or is there actually some throughput spec that is different?

Has to be someone out there who has this info. Here are the particulars:

Saab 9310152 Bosch 0 437 502 012
Saab 7856354 Bosch 0 437 502 056

I'm beginning to suspect mine and if I have to purchase a set, I would like to actually know what the difference is before buying.
