Apparently this car originally had a tan interior Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 5 Jul 2013 03:28:20 In Reply to: Wouldn't look right, No Snaab, Thu, 4 Jul 2013 19:01:57 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Per an email from the current owner who said the guy he bought it from changed the interior to black and gutted the entire sound system. I have spotted the original style Clarion radio and amplifier/equalizer on eBay, the original speakers would be worthless by now anyway.
This one is a 5-speed and is being sold becuase the current owner's step-daughter refuses to drive a stick. He bought the car in January and it has seen almost no miles since. Alledgedly a Florida car but he bought it out of Saginaw, MI - not sure how that works unless it was a Snow Bird's car.
Driver's seat is pretty rough and vinyl on top of driver side door panel (arm resting spot) is split in multiple places. Matching black may be easier than matching tan. Someone else is looking at the car today buy I have to work (sucks being low seniority again) and won't be able to see it until tomorrow or Sunday. The wife and I will be on the west side of the state where this car is located next Sunday too.
