for future reference, the grey connectors open up, so the wires can be removed and pulled through the holes in the door. There's a hinge on the wire end of the connector. Take pictures like the one below so the pins can be put back in the same positions (very important!)
The SPG trim slides to the back of the door once you've drilled-out the large-head pop rivets that connect it to the bottom lip of door.
Your best bet is to find a donor car with the same door accessories and nab the in-door wiring harness. Next best, assuming that there's enough wire length to do it properly is to do waterproof splices of the cut wires.
