What should alternator voltage be? Posted by B Millar [Email] (#1109) [Profile/Gallery] (more from B Millar) on Fri, 21 Mar 2014 05:29:17 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
1994 C900 Turbo Convertible. It eats batteries. I finally got one of those voltage monitors to plug into the 12v plug on the dash. It has a screen that displays voltage and three lights; red, yellow, green that correspond to the "health" of the readout. This morning at idle it was hovering in the low 13's. It just came out of storage and something is up with the idle at cold so every time the idle dips a bit, the green changed to yellow, so I guess it was going below "healthy." The gauge reads 14+ volts in my 9-3.
