Bob,
you've got to be more precise on your variant and model year e.g. CPS no longer comes new if your C900s is one of those, which have CPS under the crankshaft pulley.
Your car misses crankshaft (RPM) signal. This may be because of:
- crankshaft sensor going south (whenever it's dizzy-cps or cranky-cps)
- bad wiring (thermally or mechanically worn insulation, chemically or mechanically worn copper wires, chemically or mechanically damaged contact pins in the connectors)
- bad power supply (read above re wiring and apply it to the lower circuits)
- bad ground connection on CPS, EZK ECU or ignition amplifier (if your car is equipped with the latter one)
If you feel like you're electrically impaired, then you'd better pass it to some proven-to-be-good specialist. You can't always fix it like '73 MGB with a strong word and a hammer.
