If you own the replacement parts and can install them, try that, then fill with water and see what leaks, if anything, and if engine runs okay or if it's getting water into the cylinders.
If you can't get at some of the missing plugs to replace them, take one of the new ones to a good auto parts store and ask if they have the rubber expansion-type repair plugs that will fit that size. They can be got in easier if you can't reach to pound in the Dorman ones.
If you get lucky and nothing leaks, make sure to drain the system down and replace the water with proper coolant-water mix. Don't run the car long on water alone, even if it's not winter, as the coolant also serves to lubricate the water pump sealing faces and they could get ruined. Also it raises the boiling point and prevents boilovers.
And get any other coolant leaks such as bad hoses fixed at the same time. I just came near to ruining a motor by ignoring a leaking hose.
You need to tap the new plugs in as straight as possible, don't let them get cocked. A sawed off section of broomstick, or whatever dowel you can find that just about fills the hollow of the plug, will give you the best results as a driving tool.
Did plugs in the head (I think there are some) get pushed out too or just ones in the block?
