If you use a newer, non '85-86 harness what will you do about the round vs spade connectors at the ends of all the wires? If you use another '85-86 harness you've got the same crumbling insulation prob. Lots of splicing going on in any case. I left mine out of a harness-loom and replaced only the bad wires to save a lot of time. Looks like a lot of multi-colored spaghetti but everything runs and the lights are lighting. Then as the remaining "good" wires disintegrate it's easy to trace them and splice in anew section in a few minutes.
