No, I'm keeping the the bracket/gear that locks into place to hold the shifter in reverse.
More specifically, there is a metal plate that is bolted into the top of the housing over the gear set and the ignition switch. I don't have this plate from the original housing (5 speed) but I have one from an automatic housing. The one from the automatic housing has a piece of metal that I believe is blocking some of the moving parts down under the plate. What I'm trying to figure out is, does this piece of metal under the metal plate exist for the manual housings? If it does not I will remove it.
I'm trying to get things back to how they should be, but I dont know how it looked before because its my first c900 and it has hacked up when i got it.
