Don't know what fuel pump/fuel sender you used, but on a NG900 with 4 wire pump connector, yellow/white goes to fuel gauge with resistance of 33 to 330 ohms and grey/white goes to low fuel light on instrument cluster. Thicker black/green and black wires power the fuel pump. The NG900 sender resistance is a lot higher than 8 to 65 ohm of the separate C900 sender, so you'd have to somehow recalibrate its output for the C900 fuel gauge.
