I'll just guess you have water in your fuel, and the fuel is freezing in the line, then when the temp goes up, the blockage melts and the fluid flows.
I suppose the ignition amplifier could be affected by the cold in a similar way it is by heat. You might try to warm it up when it is cold outside and see if it changes the behavior. Put some gravel in a sock, heat it up on a register inside the house, and hold it on top of the iggy amp on the firewall warming it up and see if it starts.
And, we are assuming that you mean that the engine is cranking over regardless, but the engine doesn't start.
Also, check your battery for low cranking amps -- if it gets cold and the battery is weak, it may not have enough juice to run the injectors.
