I've got a bunch of locks all out of their vehicles. Someone 'jimmy'd' one of the trunk locks with a screwdriver and broke the black casting housing loose from the hatch. I am looking to take the internals out and place them in an unbroken casting that I can then re-install in the hatch so I have a one-key vehicle.
BTW, the lock guy showed me a Honda lock cylinder and several others but they are not the same as a classic c900 Saab. He did give me the usual Saabs are weird quip. I'm sure the internals are removable, just can't seem to find out how. I have a couple junk ones so could cut one up and do some self-improvement learning that way...
Not in Bostonn area - west coast. I'll email you...
Thanks!
