Corrosion in the "big plug" connector(s) thru the inner fender has caused headaches for me in the starting/fuel pump circuit. Sometimes I am amazed how well an ole 900 still runs with how messed up the circuits can get-not so much in the newer generations. Disclaimer: My viewpoint is somewhat distorted after too may years at the University of the Prince of Darkness. Perhaps Lucas components were really made in China and just repackaged in the UK!
