Its more about what Injection Labs does right with them. They use a special unobtanium wire material made from alien spacecraft spent fuel, the results are rather stunning. OK, so back to earth......they do use a special wire when building the new unit.
The key is they have a flow bench that can measure the voltage output so you can determine the right voltage per rate of airflow. In essence, calibrate the AMM back to what it hopes to measure.
Out of the dozen or so I've sent to them, I think only one was within spec, it was my brand new Bosch used for testing not for driving. Thank goodness that one was still good as it was the benchmark.
The best result I got was from my 92 LPT NA car, with a 14T compressor wheel, that car runs up the rpm scale and means business......the AMM was calibrated for a stock NA car, and with all the other mods, the AMM was still compatible.
