put some Sta bil fuel stabilizer in your 'full' gas tank and run the car for a few minutes to get the Sta-bil circulated into the entire fuel system. this will reduce the liklihood of the gas transforming into globs of injector-plugging vermin.
i put on a set of least - desirable wheels and tires and store my good ones in tire bags in my shed.
i have an Acura car cover that does the trick. i use two clamps at the front and back each to gather the car cover and clamp it to the front and rear bumpers, so that the wind can't whip up the top, and it keeps the cover from touching the ground and reducing air circulation under the vehicle.
my cover also has a locking system that has a cable running under the centre of the car and running through grommets on each side of the cover amidships.
i empty out my glove box of any valuale items and take the face plate off my stereo and lock it in the glove box.
i also fill the back seat with car parts that i dont have room for. not much room in the trunk for that since i have my tonneau covers plus a Bazooka sub and the spare tire.
If you are parking on the street you prolly have to ensure your license plate is visible, no?
i park my car on my driveway so dont have to worry about that.
