Very short crank time, sometimes longer crank time

1989 Saab 900 base model. I HAD a stalling issue that's been eliminated. However, I still have a very short crank time on initial startup (ie after sitting overnight). 1-2 seconds. Not normal as it should be building fuel pressure/compression. Occasional longer crank time---can be either cold or warmed up engine. Unpredictable.
Here's what I've checked replaced/swapped---
Crank position sensor---tried two known working ones.
Ignition coil tested--passed.
New plugs, wires, rotor, distributor cap.
Did fuel pressure tests--all passed---replaced fuel filter, fuel pump insert with Walbro.
Tested Air Mass Meter---wire glows after shutting off car.
Check engine light not on.
Fuel injectors were cleaned---passed.
Swapped EZK ignition module with known good module. No change.
