O2 sensor elbow pipe

I'm attempting to change my O2 sensor on my '90T. I've been able to remove the three nuts/bolts from the exhaust pipe's flange and the three nuts from the elbow pipe to the turbocharger after much PB Blaster soakings and propane torch heatings.
My problem is, and I don't know if you're going to believe this, is to remove the elbow pipe itself. Any posts explaining how to get to the O2 sensor centers around the six nuts and being careful that you don't snap or bend the bolts. Once you achieve that, you just 'remove the elbow'. Well I can't remove the elbow. It seems to be fused to the turbocharger. I tried hitting it with a rubber mallet - nothing and tapping it in multiple places with a regular hammer, not trying to bash it so as I don't break it, but trying to coax it off. I'm afraid if I hit it harder that I'll break the elbow itself.
What can I do here?
