Okay, so I just did this and it worked successfully.

1. I drilled the back cover (be careful or your bit will eat the plastic quickly).
2. Took the cover off. mine was slightly different than the video as I have like 8 contacts on the rear compared to the 4 shown on the video.
3. Also different than the video there was nothing special about the hi-beam contact. Just disassembles normally.
4. I cleaned all the contacts, they were really dirty.
5. I used a flat file to deepen the divets on both sides out
6. I cleaned up that entire surface to a high sheen and then applied a very small amount of grease (i think it was the red brake type), on the holder for the roller
7. I cleaned up the roller, there was also a lot o gunk.
8. Cleaned all the plastic bits up and got them nice and clean and smooth. I applied a bit of grease to where they move, though probably unnecessary.
9. Reassembled and used a zip tie to hold it down. In the future ( i have another two to do), I may cutoff the rivet ends and use a pilot hole and some self tapping screws.

All in all basically straight forward. Now I can turn right without my signal flopping around.
