Where do these Fuel Tank lines go? Posted by Matt Grimes [Email] (#2198) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Matt Grimes) on Tue, 4 Jul 2023 13:44:16 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Continuing the quest to eliminate the fuel smell from the cabin of my 91 Vert. Reading through the archives there are references to the fuel tank lines in the boot being replaced. while investigating the condition of these lines I've been puzzled by a vacuum line and rubber hose from the tank filler neck that both disappear up into the right rear fender.
Where the heck do these go?
And while we're on the subject...I pulled the back seat bottom and see three vacuum lines running across the back seat and exiting the passenger rear side. However, in the boot, there are only two vacuum lines making an appearance; one for the vacuum storage tank behind the spare wheel, and the other disappearing into the right fender well as noted above. Where does the third one go?
