There is a valve mounted to the inner fender just across from the APC brain-box. This is the valve that controls base boost when the cruise is activated. It is a vacuum switch and when vacuum is applied it interrupts the 12volt power to the APC solenoid. This interruption will cause the solenoid to open causing base boost only. If you want to bypass this valve all you have to do is jumper the connection that the valve is connected to. I believe the two wires are yellow/white. do not jump the two wires that are part of teh valve assembly, rather jumper the two wires that are part of the APC wiring harness. If you check these wires with the ignition on- one will read battery voltage and the other will read 0 volts.
