Just wanted to let everyone know that I did buy the '93 9K cse (No TCS) with 120K miles. I paid $ 5500 + tax. I also replaced the muffler, CD player , AT fluid flush/change, oil change, fuel filter for an additional $ 800. The AT is a brand new unit; replaced at 85K mile. Most of the other wear and tear items such as tires, brakes/rotors, battery have been replaced recently. I love this car now. Everything works perfectly now and the car rides great. It is very clean inside and out. Only a few minor glitches which I thought you guys can comment on:
1. ACC. Sometimes, even when the ambient temp is say > 50 degrees F, the defroster will come on when you start the car. I don't think this is normal because it makes no logical sense. I have recalibrated the ACC but it has not corrected this problem.
2. when I zero the trip meter when refueling and press that plastic "thing' that sticks out, the whole unit(speedo unit) seems to move and seems a little flimsy. Is this normal? Think some screw is lose? also the plastic "thing" has to be pressed a few times to make it a complete zero. Can I oil the involved mechanism to improve this?
