Slides is the proper term, Sliders was a great show on Sci-fi some morons decided to cancel. :)

Seems odd yours are pitted though. Mine have 273k on them (the fronts anyhow) and they are clean as a whistle. Maybe nobody ever lubed yours when they replaced the pads, and salt got in there or something? Anyhow, I cannot imagine they would be pitted so badly that you couldn't clean them up with some scotch brite or sandpaper or anything like that... If they are, I might suggest some new calipers. I doubt the slides are available separately, but you never know, ask at the dealer.

I will probably just have my calipers replaced anyway, amazing they haven't gone out on me yet..
