Where does that hose go? ? ?

Ok, picture this:
Looking at the engine from the front, on the right suspension elbow (next the relay box in fron of the battery) there are three hoses connected in a "thingy" with an electrical connector (sorry, I don't know what it is...). You know which one I mean? Good. Now,one of the hoses goes to the dump valve, the other one goes to a T connector with one end going to the manifold and the other inside the bulkhead. Where does the other one go? Note that this hose has no vacuum.
One more thing:On my MAP sensor, the hose exiting to the left (as you look at it) is about 4cm and goes nowhere. Is that normal?
The car is a CS Carlsson 2.3T auto.
Thanks in advance
Harry
