Hi, again.
Yes, the center part of the pulley, the "wheel" sort of thing, keeps spinning.
The click which was the clutch going off and on (thank you) does not occur with the doors open and the AC set to LO. Didn't occur at all.
And finally, no, I don't keep hearing the change in pitch with the clutch spinning consistently.
I'm sad that you don't like my Seiko compressor. When I get my manual, (though I hate misspellings so will likely be unable to get past that part!), I will rip out that nasty Seiko compressor and replace it with a Kaplan compressor. It's the least I can do. :)
Seriously, Robert...thanks for staying with me on this! I guess it sounds like what I've been experiencing is normal. I just couldn't understand why the off and on, off and on, every 15 seconds. Seems to occur while I'm driving, too, (with the AC set to AUTO, that is.)
Everything will be FINE once the weather cools down, 'cause I won't need to USE the AC anymore. (Don't tell me I'm going to be whining about this when winter arrives because the heater will boggle my mind too!)
Thanks again and again.
Julia
