I have 225 50 16 for my summers (96 Aero). I was running a Michelin Pilot HX MXM - they were bald in 2 summers. Very nice tires - well handling, smooth and quite. Not worth the money in my opinion; I guess if I drove a little slower they would last longer. I noticed a significant handling increase with the upgraded size. 205's just don't hold as well. Looks better too. My uncle ran the Kumho Ecstsa(?) on his 01' audi A6 4.2. Expensive car - cheap a** tires (255/45/17 for $72). He loves them: said can't beat them for the price. My opinion is get the bigger size (225/50/16) on a cheaper tire that will last longer(Conti or Kumho) and get the handling of a $200 205/55/16 tire that is bald in 2 years.
