Well I guess you know where it is located: right behind the rear seats. If yours is a hatch, just fold down the seats. If it's a CD, you will have to get the rear seat out :-((.
Getting it out is not a big deal. You need to remove part of the trunk floor. From there it's a simple unplugging. Have rags handy and depressurize the system first (but if the pump is broken that will probably aleady be the case after some unsuccessful cranking).
The most problematic part is that the assembly is secured down by a ring that you need to unscrew. Now Saab has a special tool for that, but as Haynes suggests you can also use large vice grips, just open it to the extent that the jaws just fit the notches of the ring. You need a large one because of the diameter of this ring.
Oh, yes, and if you didn't know, a fuel pump assembly is $$$$$$$ :-(
