I just finished the LPT to FPT conversion on my automatic (for the time being) '96 CS. I've drven it about 30-35 miles so far after the upgrade. It seems faster but I'm not getting the turbo lunge that I was anticipating. Am I expecting too much, especially from an automatic SAAB? Like I said, it seems faster, but that could be my imagination also. Also, the BPC valve isn't 'buzzing' as loudly or making as much sound as one that is on a fully broken-in FPT 9000 CSE that I have handy to compare it to. Could the BPC valve be faulty? I was told when I bought it that it worked perfectly & looked brand new when I received it.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
And yes, one of the endearing qualities of the 'earlier' SAABs that helped make them SAABs was the 'project car' feel. And, of course, the hatch. Gotta LOVE the hatch.
Thanks.
Dave

All were standards. Most had MSS front to back.
