Rumor has it that the 9-5 brakes are Vauxhalls' ;^( The 9000 brakes
are more than sufficient for the street, but if I were to consider bigger
brakes for track use, I'd go with the AP's or Wilwoods (UK). I think
the big version of the AP's need 18" rims. There's a smaller version
that may accept the 17" BBS's, but I'm not certain about this. It's been
my experience that for street use, the stock brakes with Ferodo pads
are more than sufficient for stopping, resistance to fade, and much
less production of dust. If I were going the BBS route, which I wont,
I'd have the 4 lug rotors welded/filled, re-machined to the 5-lug
pattern and have studs installed: easier mounting the wheels.
