I had the same problem 2 months ago. I will agree with you that payig 50% of the list proce for a part that's 15 yrs old is just crazy. These things DO show up on e-bay all the time for about $15-30 and if you'r epatient you could save alot that way. I looked into getting the ONE I needed from eeuroparts.com at like $80 but, I remembered that Bo, at engstrom.net had the all clear version for about $90 for the pair. I went that route because while I only really needed one, the other did have a broken clip and was on it's last leg as well. Also, I considered what one brand new light and one old light might look like. So, replacement of both was the answer. As Justin mentioned, these aftermarket parts aren't OEM stuff, but they're so close I couldn't tell the difference. The clear ones look great and at $90 for both, I was decision to make for these. I like most will always try and find USED parts first(unless it's an electrical part) because well, they're going on a used car. One example of a good find was getting a used fender off of e-bay for $20, while most salvage places I called wanted $100-150 for the same thing. A new fender by the way was $225-350. While $100 would have been fair, $20 made it almost free.
See Ya,
Phil
