Just bought a 92 9000 Cde - 2.3i - auto, two and an half years ago.
It costed me about 4.900 $ to buy it.

And two years and a half later, all inclusive, it has costed me around 9800 $.

I spend it to upgrade the car, to change parts before it will cause me problems.

I had already a brand new auto trans in the car when I've bought it ... a more recent engine.
The car was 160.000 kms old, but the engine only 100.000 kms.

So, my upgrades were only based on the exhaust, the radiator, services, front windshield,
wheels, tires and tie-rods, silent blocks and that kind of stuff.

I have no TCS.

What do I think about the car : it's big ( really ), comfortable ( very ), silent, powerfull ( but not in a nervous speedy way ... just calm, reliable power when you need it ). It goes very well in any kind of weather, on any kind of road.
I think ( on my opinion ) that it doesn't brake too well. But it does the job. I think you can upgrade that quite easily.
It is a highway/freeway car, but it has a good comportement in heavy city traffic.

You have definitively to keep a steady eye on everything in the car, just to prevent troubles.
Little things, you know. But once you're aware, you are pretty safe.
For me, it is a really good car. No doubt about it.

And, it is a pure pleasure to drive it.

But, I am not a nervous kind of guy, the feet always on the pedals, braking and speeding.

I cruise. And this car is done for that. Perfectly.
