And I've forgotten to answer your principal question.
What do you have to look at ?
About everything. Every parts in the engine, the Airco, the cooling system, the auto trans. Everything under the car.
All the ball joints, the motor mounts and stuff.
My advice : Go spend a few bucks to a really good Saab mechanic to have a good pro check up
of the car.
I mean : a Saab mechanic. Not just a mechanic.
The frontier between a pure pleasure to own and a nightmare to endorse is thin. This check up visit can make the difference.
Also be aware that to keep this car in a good shape, it probably will cost you between 500 $
( if you're lucky ), most probably 700 $ or 1.000 $ ( if you're not so lucky ) per year .
