See the problem is I already tried PBR Metal Masters on my cross drilled slotted rotors. They stopped fine and had no pedal problems. I just didn't like their initial bite and the scary first stop. Also they faded a little after 1 hard stop into a 2nd hard stop. But other then that worked well. I decided to change to Mintex Red box pads. I bleed the system after I installed the first set of pads. Now with the 2nd set I shouldn't have to do it because I didn't let air into the lines. I only had about 600 Miles one the Metal Master pads when I changed to Mintex Red box. I put the Pads from Europarts for the front my car. The rear pads were from another website that land have a box that looks red Mintex Red and says Mintex. The Front pads are a new box that is Red thats says Mintex TCS Friction and alot nicer looking. Are these the same pads as the other Mintex Red box. These do not give me any padal pressure after I stop hard once. THe 2nd stop feels like a sponge and hits the floor. And it doesn't get better if you drive like normal for hours. IF the car is off I have great padel pressure. And if I let it sit I will get 1 more good stop out of it. I don't think my master went since it worked good before I changed to the Mintex. Any ideas would be appreciated. THe new pads also don't have a flat surface. THey are beveled on the edges and have a slot in the center separating it into 2 seperate pads. They have alot less surface area. Actually it looks like the pad has become flat in the 100 miles I have used them. If my brakes were not giving alot of pressure then I should't smell them burning like when somebody nails the brakes when I stop. But I do.
