Hey guys,

I am new to this board, but not new to Saabs (I have owned several 900's, SPG and now have a 1971 96 which is a fun historic racer) I am looking to buy a 9000 Aero and wanted some things clarified:

1. What is the earliest Aero? I assume it had the 2.0l 16v turbo engine same as the 900 or spg?
2. I am more interested in the newer ones 94-98 (?) with the 2.3l turbo. What is the difference between a CSE and an Aero (just seats and bumpers)?
3. Is there any engine/transmission changes for the 94-98 years? I am only considering a 5 spd.
4. Things to watch out for when buying (besides obvious...crashes, leaks)...basically what goes wrong most on these cars?

I have had great reliablity with all my Saabs and have been lucky to avoid all the ususal problems (DI casettes, transmissions in 900's etc)
