It is a solid state device outputing its signal to ECU. Resistance shouldn't be measured. If you can a look at the signal with an o'scope to see the chain of pulses. It is a magnetic interrupter device that looks for the notches in the pulley to place TDC info into the ecu box. Wires are high temp insulation covered and difficult to pierce. If there is tach bounce then there is signal comign from the CPS.
