9000 is much nicer than 900. Like comparing a tank and a Ferarri.
1)Check the heater blower motor. Pain to change and dies around 100K. 2)Check to see if all doors open. The handles have a tabs that bend over time. Easily fixed. 3)Check heated seats. They often fail. 4)SRS often fails. 5)Check DI cassette for leaking oil. $350 worth unscrewing 4 10mm bolts to check. 4)Auto trans often fails around 120K but 1995 and up I have heard are better. 6) Upper motor mounts tear and then the bottoms tear from the uppers being torn. 7)Mess flex pipe on exhaust only lasts about 100K. 8)Check for rust below the gas filler at wheelwell ring. Common rust spot. 9) Dashes crack down the middle. 10) If you have electrical issues, first check to see if improper bulbs are used. I know my last 9000 had alot of troubles and it was because there were 10W bulbs where 5W bulbs were supposed to be. Follow the owners manual for bulb sizes. 11)E-brake adjustment bolts drop out and adjustment scews in the rear calipers seize up. Check the e-brake and make him fix it if it does not work. That is all I can think of from my 3 9000 I have owned.
