MY 91 9K HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. IF I PULL THE HANDLE OUT, LIKE I WOULD IF I WERE GOING TO OPEN THE DOOR WHILE I'M CLOSING THE DOOR AND THEN PUSH IT IN AFTER THE DOOR MAKES CONTACT. THE DOOR AJAR DISPLAY GOES OFF. ON MY CAR THE PROBLEM IS IN THE LATCH OR THE DOOR HANDLE.
I HAD POSTED THIS QUESTION ABOUT A MONTH AGO AND SOMEONE REPLIED BACK THAT THERE IS SOME KIND OF MAGNETIC CONECTION INSIDE THE LATCH ON THE DOOR.
