Thanks for info Ari. I wish Saab would have engineered a better connector for the thermoswitch. My fan wasn't turning on b/c one of the three male pieces inside of the connector was broken. I could tell that one of the previous owners couldn't get it apart after he/she bought a new thermoswitch, looked like a doog chewed on the damn thing. You could also tell b/c he spliced after the connector. I just bypassed the connector, let the car idle and made sure the fan kicked on, which it did.

I first thought the fan would turn on at around 9 o'clock, since 10-1030 seems a little hot for the engine to reach. But if its made to turn on at that point, the heat shouldn't be harmful to my seals should it?
