Brent,
Hope all's well with you and your Aero!
The 1993 T5 Trionic could certainly see use of the atmos. dump valve (BOV) over the bypass valve. The installation is simple and the vocals would be more pronounced upon charge pressure relief.
We have found that the piston type valves are more reliable (no diaphragm to rupture) and provide complete adjustment of the valve spring preload.
Another option is an HPbypass (Viggen 110 bypass valve) which would be a direct replacement over the factory bypass valve (usually the 103 valve on the 1993 CSE and Aero). The HPbypass would be a recirc. replacement valve but has a higher spring rate and would have less vocals than the atmos. dump valve. HPbyass is also much less expensive ($48) over the aluminum billet valve options.
Best of luck and regards,
GaryK at SWEDISH DYNAMICS,INC.
