Hi Henry.
I actually posted for this info as well, and if I remember correctly
it can be done this way:
Get a rather large 1.3 ohm resistor - like a 1/4 watt size.
Disconnect battery for 20 minutes (making certain you have your radio
code first !!)
Access the airbag electrical connector (may be easy to do from beneath).
Disconnect it and insert the resistor leads instead - and secure it well !
Reconnect battery, and when you start the car it 'thinks' the explosive
device is still connected....
One possible exception - my memory may be incorrect of the exact size
of the resistor.
Most RadShacks have stripped out their part selection now, and if you
ever need components and have no local source Mouser Electronics is
very, very good pricewise, helpful, and shipping is very quick too.
