To follow-up...
It appears that I've got a successful outcome. The car is running well (better); when I check my fuel mileage I'll know for sure. But anyway, the Check Engine light is out and is staying out.
To answer my own/previous questions (which concur with Wingerr's comments [http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9000/index.html?bID=223854]):
1) The Bosch connectors Are Posi-Lock (TM). They're somewhat funky, but they seem to work just fine.
2) I cut the existing wires/harness right at the O2 sensor. As the original wires/harness lay at about 70 degrees to the sensor (going away from you, toward the passenger side), it's a bit tough to make this cut.
3) There IS enough room to strip the wires, but just barely! Be careful to get the right guage for stripping (measure/look twice and cut once!). The wires aren't very flexible, in which case it's a bit of a struggle to capture only one wire at at time for stripping.
4) The wire colors are an exact match: two whites, one black and one gray.
5) Installation sequence: First, install the small connector box cap, seals (little yellow things that go over the wires) and then the barrel connectors on the original harness wires; second, strip the wires on the new O2 sensor and install this unit; then fit the larger piece of the connector box on the new wires (attached to the new O2 sensor), followed by the seals and then attach the wires to the barrel connector; slide the barrel/wire/seals into the connector box and close.
6) I didn't trim the wire on the new O2 sensor. This enabled me to pull the wire out away from the O2 sensor toward the front of the car. The cable/harness/connector box lays just under the A/C unit. The wire is essentially doubled up/down under the A/C to remove the slack and keep it from getting close to the exhaust, serpentine belt (and engine block).
7) Disconnect battery for about 30 minutes to reset the engine fault code.
I took a couple of pictures if anyone is interested.
Thanks everyone!
