I also have 2 Saab's, and if it wasn't for that fact, I wouldn't be able to make my daily commute to and from work (150 miles per day). Granted, one is a 9K and the other a convertible, but I still use both of them as my mode of transportation no matter the weather (I've actually been using the 'vert this whole winter since the 9K is waiting for me to do a hg replacement).
Let's face it: as nice and fun as Saab's are, it's a reality that they need more TLC than the average vehicle. With that said, there would be no chance of me ripping into one without knowing that I have another to keep me going if the job wasn't completed. Even if the task at hand is something simple (replacing brake pads, for instance), you never know what can of worms will be opened once you get into the job, and suddenly it's not a simple task anymore.
I say, if you've got the room and the car is paid for, then why not keep it? Drop comp and collision insurance on the CS and just keep liability on it (if that's allowed in your state). It's also a good idea for when you need to use it as a utility vehicle and not care if it gets dirty inside. You can keep the Aero clean and 'purty instead.
