I don't know if my O2 sensor problems are related to having a JT 3" system, but here's my history (over the course of 4 years):

After installing the JT, I replaced the O2 sensor within 10K miles. The CEL probably came on soon after the JT install, I just never got around to replacing the sensor.

After replacing the sensor, the car never performed as well as before. It was experiencing low- to no- boost. I tried diagnosing the problem for months and traced it to a bad O2 sensor. The CEL came on the next day, proving that it was the sensor. I returned that one, and they sent me a new one since it was only a few months old.

Within 20K miles, the CEL came back on. I installed another new O2 sensor, and that one has only been in for 6K miles.

I have always used silver anti-seize lube on the threads. I've tried cleaning the tips of the sensors with a propane torch, but that was always a temporary fix. I've always used the oem Bosch sensor.

The CEL would always illuminate with the codes P0130 and P0133. I noticed that the car would perform perfectly when cold, when the O2 sensor is not being used for monitoring. After the car is warmed up and the sensor then comes into play, the car is not as strong.

I've often wondered if my problems are related to having a JT system. I've never noticed anyone else complaining of a similar situation, but when I had the oem stock system in place, I never had an O2 sensor problem.
