Loosening the rear engine mount bolt is definitely less difficult than dealing with the subframe bolts; all you need are a few extensions to cover the length between the top of the intake and the socket.
Many people pull the exhaust header off too...if the flex pipe is aging it will put a significant strain on it when you jack the engine up enough for the mount to clear the gap.
