in past posts. It's what made me decide against using an oil-soaked filter (K&N) in my 'vert since it uses an AMM. I didn't want the thin wire being affected by more dust/dirt. I've been using the K&N for years now in the 9K, cleaning and lubing it yearly.
I'm hoping this is not something attributed to the K&N filter...that would stink.
I will check all hoses and such and see if that helps. What about re-setting the base boost if out of spec? O2 sensor (though no codes are being thrown)? I use 93-octane always, and the fuel filter was replaced 60K miles ago (they go much longer than that).
One other thing I notice is that I can hold the gas pedal steady (let's say 1/2-way down) and watch the turbo gauge slowly increase as the turbo builds up more and more pressure. I'm not pressing the pedal down any further, requesting more boost, but the turbo continues to build more pressure until it reaches the max for that amount of pedal push. It just takes longer to reach that max than it used to.
