Hi. Was driving in traffic when oil light came on.
Drive 1 mile and check oil.
Oil is full, so go to work. Think it must be the oil level sensor that is stuck.
4 hours later, engine starts well. Oil light on.
Drive half a mile and power decreases. Temp is normal.
Stop at red light and engine stalls.
Restart engine, drive half a mile as powers decreases.
Temp is still normal.
Another stall.
Check battery, vacuum hoses.
Start again, no power.
Start again and again, engine turns slowly until battery cannot turn engine.
Come back on flat bed.
Next day : check_engine codes is 2-5-5-5-5-5.
Oil light is on and oil dipstick shows full.
Engine starts well but very noisy.
Stop engine.
What do I have to check ?
How can I know the oil pump is shot?
Could it be the DI cassette ?
The engine has at least 150 k miles.
