I have a 1994 9000 Aero with 121,000 miles on it, and it's virtually perfect. One of the best cars I've ever driven- truly fast (quicker 50-70mph than a Ferrari Testarossa, I've been told), quiet, competent, and thrifty on gas. Great ride, and the World's Best Seats! The only bugabu encountered has been the infamous cruise control module (see other conversation threads on this bulletin board to confirm this and fixes tried). Have a mechanic go through it pre-purchase, and look for service history receipts. My winter rat is a 1987 9000 turbo with 191,500 miles on it, and it goes great, super winter traction with 4 snow tires. Saab built the 9000's very well. And, my son talked me into upgrading the 1897 with a large turbo, 3 inch downpipe, "off-road" exhaust, 3 bar fuel pump, stage 2 ECU, big injectors, K&N air filter, etc. Who says old goats can't fly??
