Richard, most electronic fuel pressure gauges just have an electronic sending unit with +12V, GND and signal. There are many ways to get the fuel pressure, but on our cars, I think the "easiest" way would be maybe to drill and tap the fuel rail, and install some kind of 1/8" NPT fitting which you could then plub out to your sending unit.
I had one on my old GMC Typhoon, and that fuel rail already had port on it like a schrader valve on a car tire. I pulled the core out of the valve with a valve stem tool, threaded a fitting onto the fuel rail, hooked in the sensor and was off and running.
Just curious.....why are you looking to monitor FP? Might be worth a quick search of the performance area too; see if any tuners have pics or a better description of what to do.
