Use a banjo bolt adapter Posted by Gene N [Email] (#1094) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Gene N) on Tue, 3 Jun 2008 13:14:21 In Reply to: Connect an in dash fuel press gauge-how? what parts?, Richard Chang, Tue, 3 Jun 2008 11:26:52 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Use a Banjo Bolt M12*1.25 adapter, part number 0180-000-1298, from the Actron catalog. The adapter replaces the banjo bolt that connects the fuel line from the pump to the fuel rail. There is a Schrader valve on top of the bolt, but you can take out the core and make an adapter to your gauge. Alternatively, you could drill and tap your current bolt (or a replacement)and put whatever fitting on you wanted. A replacement bolt from the dealer might cost more than the adapter (currently $2.54 + shipping).
